Warwick Medical School (MBChB team)

Salary: £58,225 – £67,468

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced academic and/or clinical staff (note this is not a clinical post) to work with a leading team of clinical anatomists who are recognised for their modern innovative curricula, resources and approaches. The post holder will have a unique opportunity to enhance their skills via leadership in the development and delivery of education and training in clinical anatomy and medical imaging at MBChB and postgraduate/professional level.

The post holder may contribute to other teaching, learning and assessment activities within the MBChB programme, such as OSCE examinations and written assessment creation and delivery, and may take other leadership roles at appropriate points.

Warwick Medical School (WMS) runs the largest Graduate Entry Medical programme in the UK; it recruits highly motivated students and produces excellent graduates. The MBChB course is centred around Case Based Learning (CBL) and is composed of integrated longitudinal themes (e.g., clinical anatomy) and blocks of system and clinical specialty-based learning. Clinical anatomy and imaging teaching is one of the most highly rated parts of the MBChB programme.

Clinical anatomy and imaging education is provided via the new purpose-built Clinical Education Hub. Students learn using a unique combination of resources and techniques including asynchronous online materials, interactive workshops using plastinated dissections and living subjects, model creation/exploration, drawing and medical imaging.
