This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact research in areas such as smart grids, renewable energy integration, power electronics, grid stability and future energy systems. You will contribute across: Leading world-class research and developing innovative solutions for energy grid integration Attracting substantial competitive research grants and contracts Supervising and mentoring Higher Degree by Research students and early career researchers Building strategic collaborations with industry, government and international research partners This position is research-focused for the first five years of appointment, followed by a continuing Teaching and Research position. This position is open to national and international candidates. Relocation and visa support may be available. About You: You are an internationally recognised researcher with a strong record of research impact in energy systems and electrical or electronic engineering. You are visionary, collaborative, and experienced in leading research teams, mentoring researchers, and translating research into real-world impact. Depending on your career stage, you will bring: A PhD or equivalent in electrical and/or electronic engineering or a closely related discipline A distinguished international research record, including high-quality publications and significant competitive grant success Proven research leadership and supervision experience, including mentoring early- and mid-career researchers and Higher Degree by Research students Track record of establishing national and international research collaborations and translating research outcomes About the College of Science and Engineering At the College of Science and Engineering we believe in the power of science and engineering to solve real world problems.
