About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09 The Team: The AI Product & Portfolio team within Sustainable1 by S&P Energy Horizons drives the strategic evolution of AI-powered sustainability solutions, balancing cutting-edge innovation with disciplined execution. Operating across three key areas - AI strategy and generative AI development, portfolio curation for financial institutions and corporate clients, and product acceleration through automated delivery systems. Responsibilities and Impact: Oversee product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring technical requirements align with business needs and regulatory standards Develop and prototype agentic AI solutions for key client workflows, working with key multi-functional teams Partner with engineering teams to translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and manage product delivery timelines Conduct hands-on data analysis and validation to inform product decisions and ensure sustainability analytics solution accuracy Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, validate product concepts, and ensure solutions meet workflow requirements Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, user guides, and training materials to support successful implementation What We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field 0-3 years of product management experience, preferably in financial services, technology, or sustainability sectors Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven decision making and hands-on data analysis Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their practical business applications in product development Subject matter expertise in sustainability, climate analytics, or ESG frameworks with demonstrated knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements Additional Preferred Qualifications: Strong appreciation for sustainability and climate analytics use cases, with hands-on experience applying these insights in business contexts About S&P Global Energy At S&P Global Energy, our comprehensive view of global energy and commodities markets enables our customers to make superior decisions and create long-term, sustainable value.
