Responsibilities About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity for an Associate to join our highly regarded Power, Utilities and Infrastructure (PUI) team that provides tailored strategic financial advice to clients across the power generation (primarily focused on renewables), utilities, environmental services and infrastructure, energy infrastructure, transport and energy transition (hydrogen, energy storage, EV charging) sectors. The primary focus of the team is on M&A / Equity Advisory while also collaborating with other teams across the Bank on Financing and Equity Capital Markets opportunities. The role offers the chance to be part of a dynamic, high-performing and well-respected team that is at the forefront of Europe's energy and infrastructure transition. You will have exposure to a wide variety of sub-sectors within PUI as well as products (M&A, Equity, Debt) working collaboratively with various teams and having plenty of opportunity to take a leading role in presenting and executing deals. By working with more responsibility and closer on all aspects of deals compared to peers at other organisations you will have an outstanding opportunity to develop your personal brand and career, helping SG maintain its position as a leader in this market and positioning yourself as a true expert. Key Purposes / Responsibilities of the Role:We are looking for someone to be based in London with strong financial modelling skills, sector knowledge and a pro-active attitude who can guide / mentor analysts and interns while playing an integral role supporting the execution of M&A mandates, strategic advisory and capital markets transactions. Specific responsibilities will include: Leading and Assisting in the origination and execution of Corporate Finance transactions across the PUI sector
