We design cohesive talent experiences as part of the end-to-end employee experience, including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and career development, with diversity and inclusion foundational to all we do.Reporting into the Talent Director, the Associate Manager Talent Development EMEA will be responsible to develop and execute right training offer to boost a culture of growth mindset where every employee can realize their full potential as well as developing leaders at all levels through unparalleled innovation, collaboration, and execution to become a talent-led organization.You will partner closely with HR colleagues, stakeholders across the business and external partners to define, develop and implement professional learning, development, talent and career programs for Mattel EMEA.In this role you will:Lead career development and performance oriented talent processes such as OTPs, Talent Performance Management cycle, CAP, etc.Support the design of high-potential development programs aligned with performance and succession planning goals.Partner with local HRBPs and the global talent team to ensure alignment with processes and priorities including performance management.Research and analyze best practices and trends to advance performance management strategies within the broader People & Culture plan.Collaborate with the TA Lead to the design & implementation of the Early Career Program for EMEABuild and maintain relationships with local HRBPs to improve and streamline new-hire onboarding, leveraging existing and new HR technology.When needed, support the delivery and facilitation of engaging in-person and virtual workshops to ensure consistent learning experiences across EMEA such as ESCI 360 feedback, team workshops and team profiling tools such as DISC, MBTI, etc.Serve as a resource for Career Development, 360 feedback delivery and coaching.Research and analyze best practices and emerging trends to help advance our People and Culture Plan, L&D, Talent, and employee experience strategies.Measure and analyze the impact of Talent initiatives and recommend improvements to ensure continuous program effectiveness and drive decision making, tracking progress of our Talent Development & Engagement goals. Support the development of learning projects from needs analysis to deployment, taking into consideration the complexities of creating training for a regional audience with common, but niched needs.Partner and ensure regional alignment with global talent team, local HR teams and with our Employee Resource Groups to shape programs and initiatives which develop and engage employees in a purpose centered workplace.Support the delivery of customized solutions tied to key initiatives/client needs.Liaise with external providers to ensure delivery quality and alignment with Mattel standards.Monitor and report on learning budgets and resources where relevant.QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Education, or related field required.At least 4+ years of progressive experience in a Talent Development/L&D/ Capability building/ HR/ Leadership role with a leading business/organization.Experience supporting the design and facilitation of performance management programs.Proven experience in owning and leading projects from concept to implementation.Demonstrates a global mindset and thrives in a consumer-facing, global, matrix working environment.Strong business acumen and understanding of Mattel’s strategic roadmap and future goals and how learning can support our business growth.Leads and acts with a high level of autonomy and ownership.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage and influence stakeholders across cultures.A visible passion for and role model of personal growth and learning.Ability to analyze data and derive insights to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.Influencing skills with a track record for building relationships.Experience delivering results in a highly entrepreneurial team.Flexibility, adaptability and resourcefulness to adapt to a constantly changing environment.Ability to collaborate and build trusted partnerships across multiple functional groups and/or multiple global locations.
