My Client, a UK centric bank in the City, seeks a structuring/transaction execution banker, with strong exposure to either/or of Fund Finance or Speciality/Wholesale Finance, to join their wider Transaction Execution team in London. Key responsibilities : Business Origination Driven the establishment of the Bank as a key player in the NAV and Fund Finance space.To originate, structure and execute new debt facilities in line with targets for the division. This can be across both Wholesale and Fund Finance.Drive origination activities to build a pipeline of new business opportunities and promote the Bank's brand across the speciality and fund finance market. Develop an origination network across advisors, lawyers, P/E sponsors. Attend and participate in relevant industry events to strengthen the profile of the team. Assist in the portfolio management, monitoring, coverage and reporting of facilities once completed. This involves assessing amendments, restructures and enhancement to facilities already in place. Qualifications and experience 7-10 years' experience in bank lending ideally in Fund Finance or Speciality Finance Demonstratable experience of managing transactions from origination to completion. This includes structuring the best solution for the customer and navigating the various credit approval stages within the bank, negotiating facility documentation etc. In-depth knowledge of NAV structures, and with a network to originate deals in the space Proven analytical and risk management skills, with experience working with structured finance cash flow models across a range of receivable types.
