The Role: Providing high-quality concept, preliminary and detailed technical design on projects requiring highway and drainage design.Carrying out a range of drainage calculations, including QBar, attenuation storage, and soakaway sizing, foul loads, pipeline capacities and network analysis for a range of drainage applications.Carrying out a range of adoptable and non-adoptable highway, driveway, carparking, and footpath structural pavement designs for a range of permeable and non-permeable surfaces Overseeing the preparation of S104, S106 and S185 application forms and associated packages for submission to the Drainage Authority and Planning Authority.Report writing, e.g. Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy Reports, etcSelling, marketing and business development of new and existing clients and being alert to new leadsWhat we’re looking for: Confidence and ability with team and project managementAmbitious, committed, and with integrityExtensive experience with drainage and highway design softwareStrong attention to detail and accuracy of one's own work and that of others working with youAbility to supervise and develop a team whilst working as part of a wider teamBe proactive without supervisionClient-foc
