The Cloud Team is part of Digital Engineering Services within the Corporate Technology division at MUFG Securities. We are a small, dynamic team of four engineers led by the Cloud Team Lead, driving the organization’s cloud strategy and operations. Currently, we support Azure as our primary cloud platform alongside Oracle Cloud, with AWS being onboarded as a strategic platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work across multiple cloud environments, collaborate with diverse teams, and deliver secure, scalable solutions that underpin our critical banking services. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE This is a hands-on technical role focused on designing, implementing, and supporting public cloud platforms for IaaS and PaaS services. You will work primarily with Azure and Oracle Cloud, and later with AWS as it is onboarded. The role involves collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Implement cloud solutions on Azure (primary), Oracle Cloud, and AWS. Provide operational (BAU) and project support for cloud users. Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions. Work with other cloud team members to improve stability, security, and cost efficiency. Produce architectural designs based on business requirements. Drive automation and best practices across cloud environments. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Essential Experience Strong hands-on Azure engineering experience, including Infrastructure as Code (Bicep / ARM). Scripting experience (PowerShell, with some Python desirable). Experience with Oracle Cloud services. Version control experience (Git). Real-world experience implementing and supporting Azure and Oracle services. Ability to design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions. Good knowledge of IAM and security best practices. Preferred Experience AWS engineering experience (CloudFormation and/or Terraform). Strong automation skills and ability to leverage scripting for problem-solving. Knowledge of REST APIs. Key Services Cloud Platforms Expertise: App Service, Storage, Function Apps, Virtual Machines Identity and Access Management AKS, API Management Networking (VNet, NSG) and Identity (Azure AD) Preferred Services EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation Networking and DNS CI/CD and automation tools Education & Certifications Preferred Azure certifications (AZ-104 or higher) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Why Join Us?
