Reporting to a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and assisting with crucial financial tasks. Your day-to-day duties will include
- Preparing monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assisting with budgeting, business plans, and monthly forecasting.
- Posting journals, accruals, and prepayments, and reconciling the corresponding balance sheet codes.
- Monitoring internal controls and identifying opportunities to challenge business and finance assumptions.
- Producing and distributing monthly reports
- Commentary on variances to Budget and to the last forecast .
- Maintaining the Chart of Accounts and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations.

Skills and Abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present information clearly and concisely.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the willingness to further develop your skills.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data.
- A commitment to department goals and a desire to support your team members.
- Receptive to new ideas and adaptable to different situations and working styles.
