This is a pivotal role, supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home and ensuring the highest standards of care for our children and young people.This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Senior Support Worker ready to step up, or an existing Assistant Manager who values working within a small, supportive, independent setting where you can truly make an impact.You will need to hold a Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and be willing to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare if not already achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & ManagementSupport the Registered Manager in the effective day-to-day running of the homeEnsure compliance with the Children’s Act 1989, National Minimum Standards, and Ofsted requirementsProvide line management, supervision, and professional guidance to Residential Support WorkersSupport rota planning, staffing levels, and shift organisationAssist with performance management, welfare, and disciplinary
