Responsibilities · Preparation of year end accounts up to trial balance and supporting reports · Sole preparation of monthly management accounts, with overhead analysis and reporting · Regular balance sheet reconciliations · Intercompany accounting and reconciliation, along with posting monthly PAYE journals · Maintaining fixed asset register · Cost tracking and providing variable analysis on a monthly basis · Overseeing the VAT and CIS returns and submissions, carried out by our finance assistant and purchase ledger clerk · Close monitoring and assistance with query and supplier resolutions · Check and finalise monthly payment run · Overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions
