Assistant Credit Controller – Full-Time (Office-Based)
Ballyclare | 37.5 hours/week (Mon–Fri, 08:30–16:30)
Silverwood Recruitment is excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Credit Controller to join a well-established and highly respected organisation based in Ballyclare. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with credit control experience who thrives in a busy office environment and enjoys working as part of a dynamic finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
As Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in the credit control function, assisting with:
- Conducting credit checks for new and existing customers
- Setting and monitoring customer credit limits
- Chasing overdue invoices and managing customer communications
- Resolving payment queries and discrepancies
- Issuing customer statements and preparing weekly/monthly debt and cash reports
- Supporting the wider accounts team with cash allocation and general admin tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in a credit control role within a commercial environment
- Strong Excel and general IT skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Confidence dealing with customers over the phone
- Proactive, detail-focused, and able to manage workloads under pressure
- Team player who can also work independently
