This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in a supportive and dynamic environment, working alongside experienced professionals on a range of diverse projects within the building surveying field.As an Assistant Building Surveyor, you will be working on a variety of projects for both private and public sector clients, providing building surveying services across a broad range of sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial properties. You will assist in the preparation of reports, surveys, inspections, and project management duties, and gain valuable hands-on experience while working towards your professional qualifications.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake site inspections and surveys, identifying defects and recommending solutionsAssist with project management of refurbishment, maintenance, and development projectsProduce detailed reports, schedules of work, and specificationsLiaise with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed to high standardsSupport senior colleagues with contract administration, tendering, and procurement processesAssist in the management of costs, ensuring projects remain within budgetMaintain accurate records and documentationEnsure compliance with relevant building regulations and health & safety standardsKey RequirementsAn RICS accredited degree in Building SurveyingSome experience working in a building surveying role. Ideally 1 – 2 years.Strong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work effectively within a team and independentlyA proactive and professional attitude with a strong desire to learn and developFull UK driving licens
