• G&H is a world leader in optical designing, testing and manufacturing. As experts in the technology of light, G&H works with customers to provide optical systems, assemblies, and components for demanding applications. We have a vacancy in our busy assembly department, working within a small team to manufacture periscopes and opto-mechanical sights.

• Main responsibilities include;
• • Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
• • Pack finished products
• • Clean production equipment and work areas
• • Mix adhesives and prepare metal to optics bonding
• • Bond optical surfaces together for substrates and laser protection filters
• • Set optical sub-assemblies to the correct orientation
• • Inspect Optics and Metal work to required specification
• • Follow the MRB process for non-conforming parts
• • Perform AQL inspection on some parts
• • Ensure history card and other documentation is completed

• Ideal candidates will have the following;
• • Experience of working in an assembly environment would be advantageous, ideally testing and inspecting work
• • Used to working to tight deadlines
• • Ability to follow instructions accurately
• • Good with problem solving and results orientated
• • Ability to work on own initiative
• • Good manual handling skills
• • Flexibility and openness to working overtime when required
