Job Title: Asbestos SurveyorLocation: Croydon, Greater LondonSalary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & BenefitsA UKAS accredited consultancy is seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to cover a range of commercial and domestic sites across the South Eastern region. Due to the locations of work, it would be beneficial to have access to the M25 and / or M23. Our client has a strong reputation within the industry and is renowned for their great further training and progression opportunities. Candidates must have a proven track record within the industry, in addition to the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle, overtime and annual leave allowance.You will be travelling across: Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Dartford, Gravesend, Mitcham, Epsom, Sutton, Caterham, Redhill, Oxted, Sevenoaks, Snodland, Horley, Crawley, East Grinstead, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Haywards Heath, Horsham, Kingston upon Thames, Surbiton, Weybridge, Woking, Guildford, Godlaming, Billingshurst.Experience / Qualifications:- Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company- Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent, as a minimim- Good understanding of HSG 264 guidelines- Flexible to travel in line with company requirements- Strong communication skills- IT literateThe Role:- Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys- Safely collecting ACM samples from site- Writing detailed technical reports, with floorplans- Answering technical queries from clients and providing sound advice- Maintaining the company's reputation- Working to personal targets and deadlines- Ensuring to work in line with safety guidelines- Travelling in line with client requirementsAlternative job titles: Asbestos Consul
