Description
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic ASB Officer at the PO1 level to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in addressing anti-social behavior (ASB) within our community, working proactively to foster a safe and welcoming environment for all residents. As an ASB Officer, you will collaborate with various stakeholders including community representatives, law enforcement agencies, and local authorities to identify, manage, and reduce instances of ASB. Your responsibilities will include conducting investigations into reports of ASB, maintaining accurate records, and developing strategic initiatives aimed at prevention and intervention. You will also engage with the community to promote awareness and facilitate educational programs that encourage positive behavior. This position requires strong communication skills and an ability to work with diverse groups, ensuring that the community feels supported and empowered. Responsibilities
Investigate reports of anti-social behavior and gather evidence to support action.
Work in collaboration with local law enforcement and community organizations to address ASB issues.
Develop and implement community engagement initiatives to educate residents on ASB impacts and prevention strategies.
Maintain detailed records of investigations and outcomes to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Create reports and presentations for stakeholders to convey findings and recommendations.
Lead community meetings to discuss ASB concerns and actively seek input from residents.
Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and suggest improvements based on community feedback.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, criminal justice, or a related field.
Proven experience in community engagement or public safety roles.
Strong understanding of anti-social behavior legislation and community safety principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse community members.
Ability to analyze data and prepare reports for stakeholders to communicate findings.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Experience in conflict resolution and mediation techniques.

Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £27.04
Location: North London, London
