The Role: Championing Creativity
We are looking for an exceptional and versatile Art Teacher to teach Art and Design across the secondary age range (e.g., ages 11-16, potentially including advanced levels). This role requires a passionate educator skilled in motivating students of all abilities and fostering a lifelong appreciation for visual culture. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence the artistic direction of the school.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Teach and assess Art and Design lessons, including drawing, painting, 3D work, and elements of graphic design.
- Develop and refine schemes of work that are culturally relevant, challenging, and meet the requirements of external examining bodies.
- Organise and supervise the safe and effective use of the Art studio and specialist equipment.
- Run engaging extracurricular activities (e.g., portfolio clubs, photography club) to enhance student engagement outside of lesson time.
- Curate and install compelling displays of student work around the school campus.
- Track student data and implement appropriate intervention strategies to ensure all learners reach their full potential.
- Liaise effectively with parents regarding student progress and artistic achievement.
