Your new companyYou will be working for a very successful family-owned company that is one of the leading regional food service providers in the local area. Supplying over 4,000 products from fresh meat and fish to frozen foods, and groceries via various depots across the north of England and southern Scotland. Their mission is to deliver quality products and exceptional service to a diverse customer base, including hotels, restaurants, NHS facilities, and independent caterers. Your new roleAs Area Sales Manager for Lancashire and North Yorkshire, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and delivering exceptional service across your designated territory.Duties and responsibilities - Deal with customer queries helpfully and politely and pass them on to the relevant departments.Canvass and win new business - increasing your account portfolioIdentifying and following up on potential business winsTo use any sales aids necessary in the course of your work.To promote our product range and level of service whilst informing customers of new products, promotions, etc.To promote the benefits of our online ordering system and link in with the team in our Head Office.To complete all paperwork fully and punctually to include new account forms and monthly expenses.To liaise with the accounts department and credit control to assist with all aspects of account management.To carry out any other duties as reasonably required. What you'll need to succeedYou will be a forward-thinking, driven individual who enjoys creating and nurturing relationships. You will have previous sales experience, ideally, within the food service sector and have a passion for food and the hospitality industry. You will be a strong communicator, have excellent presentation
