Archives and Records ManagerWe are currently recruiting for a temp Archives and Records Manager to start immediately on a temp- basis- for 6 months £26-29 an hour- Based on 43-49K SalaryNear Tower Hill; The role is hybrid- with 2 in and 3 from home WHO WILL YOU BE WORKING FOR?Our client is an established non-profit membership Healthcare organisation. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? To deputise for the Library and Archives ManagerTo provide a professional records and archives management service to all College departmentsTo review, develop and implement improvements to the College’s records Management strategies, practices, policies and procedures and to ensure the College complies with the General and Data Protection Regulations by maintaining and updating the Records Collecting and accessioning archives according to the Archives Collection Development PolicyCataloguing archives according to international standards and managing online catalogues, the Policy Index, and other finding aids.Preserving and conserving archives according to the College`s Preservation Policy and maintaining an up-to-date disaster recovery plan for the College’s heritage collections.Responding to enquiries from staff, Members and Fellows of the College and members of the public and providing a research serviceReviewing, updating, and maintaining the Records Management Policy and Records Retention Schedule to ensure the College complies with the General Data Protection Regulations and other relevant legislation.Managing the Archives and Records Management budget.
