Are you an experienced and skilled Architectural Technician looking for flexible freelance work in the Cramlington area?

The Role & Responsibilities
You will be crucial in turning design concepts into workable construction drawings and documentation, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance. This role is offered on a project-by-project freelance basis.
- Producing detailed construction and technical drawings for fit-out, refurbishment, and special works projects (e.g., internal layouts, elevations, sections, and details).
- Assisting with spatial planning and producing layout options for various projects.
- Ensuring all drawings comply with relevant UK Building Regulations and standards.
- Collaborating effectively with our in-house project managers and site teams to resolve technical queries.
- Preparing schedules, specifications, and technical submissions as required.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, preferably with a background in fit-out, refurbishment, or commercial/special works projects.
- High proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Based locally or within easy commuting distance of Cramlington (essential for occasional site/office meetings).
