Apprentice Recruitment Consultant

Newstaff Employment in Luton is on the lookout for a motivated Apprentice Recruitment Consultant to join our team.

This is your chance to gain real experience, work alongside senior consultants, and build valuable skills – all while getting paid!

What’s in it for you?

£15,704 salary (with a pay rise once you’ve completed your apprenticeship)

What you’ll need

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade 4 or above
• Ideally, a driving licence (or currently learning), as visiting clients is part of the job

What you’ll be doing day to day

You’ll work alongside a Senior Recruitment Consultant, getting stuck into a variety of tasks, such as:

• Talking to clients and helping manage their accounts
• Visiting clients with your consultant
• Pre-screening and arranging interviews
• Interviewing new applicants
• Making sure compliance checks are all in order
• Posting job adverts online
• Managing bookings and re-bookings
• General admin, answering phones, data entry, and using our CRM system

Every day is different – you’ll never be bored!

Training & Qualification

Recruitment Level 3 Apprenticeship (equivalent to A-level)
• Around 12 months long
• A mix of on-the-job learning and in-house training
• At least 6 hours of coursework per week

You don’t need to have all of these already, but by the end of your apprenticeship you’ll be confident in:

• Communication & teamwork
• Organisation & problem-solving
• Customer service & presentation
• IT & admin skills
• Thinking creatively and using your initiative

This isn’t just a job – it’s the start of a career. Once you’ve completed your apprenticeship, you’ll qualify as a Recruitment Consultant, with a clear path to becoming a Section Manager and beyond.
