We're currently seeking an experienced Application Development Director to lead a high-performing scrum team delivering data solutions for a major onboarding programme within a financial services environment. Description Lead a multi-skilled scrum team including business analysts, data engineers, testers, and data office staffManage the ingestion of critical data into the EMEA Data Platform, with a focus on finance-related datasetsCollaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritise and deliver a well-planned data pipelineFacilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure productive, time-boxed meetingsTrack sprint progress, remove blockers, and escalate risks or issues as neededMaintain transparency through meaningful MI and JIRA dashboards Profile 10+ years of Agile delivery experience, including Scrum and Scrum of ScrumsStrong understanding of data in a corporate investment banking context, especially within FinanceProven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and offshore resourcesSkilled in stakeholder communication across all levelsExperience with Atlassian JIRA and Agile reporting toolsExposure to Data Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture, ideally with Databricks Degree-level education or equivalent experienceAgile certification or demonstrable Agile delivery expertise Job Offer Competitive daily rate between £700 and £1100 Inside IR35 (via an umbrella company).Opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within the analytics department.Temporary position in a London-based financial services organization -
