This Accounts Payable (AP) position on a 12-month fixed-term contract is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to manage financial transactions and support the accounting team. The role is based in Chertsey and involves working within the retail industry. The role could become permanent for the right person Description Process and manage a high volume of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.Manual processingSupporting with improving processesExcel work - spreadsheets and working with large data setsAssist in preparing payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records.Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to address queries.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.Support month-end and year-end closing processes.Maintain an organised filing system for all financial documentation.Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function. Profile A successful Accounts Payable (AP) professional should have: Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar accounting role.Be used to working in a fast paced role with a high volume environmentA keen interest and track record with technology/ systems - there is a big drive to modernise proc
