• We’re looking for a passionate RuneScape or Old School RuneScape player who knows the game inside and out and wants to help keep the game fair by doing activities such as identifying and removing bots.

• As an Anti-Cheat Product Analyst you'll be part of the front line in our fight against cheating. You’ll use your in-depth game knowledge to investigate suspicious player behaviour, analyse trends in botting, and take action against rule-breaking accounts.

• This is a hands-on, investigative role ideal for someone who cares deeply about protecting the game’s integrity.
• Identify, investigate, and report botting activity and other forms of cheating within RuneScape and/or Old School RuneScape.
• Use in-game tools and internal systems to review reports, gather evidence, and issue bans or escalations.
• Monitor high-risk areas, trends, and bot hotspots using your knowledge of the game meta and player behaviour.
• Collaborate with the Anti-Cheat, Player Support, and Analytics teams to improve detection accuracy and response speed.
• Contribute to our internal “bot watchlists”, flag new trends, and help test bot-detection improvements.
• Stay connected to community sentiment and emerging botting methods across forums, videos, and social channels.
• Play the game and know it from the inside out to be able to explore the data effectively.
• Partner with data engineering to manage data requirements such as schema requirements and data format to support high-quality deliverables such as machine learning models.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Python or R, Statistical Modeling & Data Cleansing Techniques
• Working knowledge of quantitative techniques and tools including the following regressions, survival analysis, classification, forecasting, and clustering
• Crafting a clear message for your audience using complex ideas and insights in a simple to understand manner.
• Base understanding of project management, research, and scientific testing
• Strong domain knowledge in assessing digital products, working in a game analytics environment in core statistical modeling and toolsets
• Deep understanding of RuneScape or Old School RuneScape gameplay. You should be an active or former player who knows how the game works at a high level.
• Strong awareness of botting methods, macros, scripts, and farming behaviours.
• Detail-oriented, investigative mindset. Able to spot patterns and inconsistencies.
• Comfortable making judgement calls based on guidelines and evidence.
• Ability to work independently, flag concerns, and communicate findings clearly.
