We have an opportunity within HSBC Asset Management for an Alternatives RI Specialist, Private Credit. The Alts Responsible Investment team has a crucial role in delivering this ambition as many clients, and increasingly regulators, expect alternatives asset managers to integrate ESG factors into their investment decision-making. The role holder will support the analysis and integration of ESG issues into the Alternative Credit investment processes and plays a vital role in influencing deal teams in the Capital Solutions and Private Credit teams to assess the implications of sustainability issues for investment decisions. The individual will also engage with investee companies / projects on the management of ESG issues. In this role you will: Support the integration of ESG across private credit investment strategies along with the development and evolution of an appropriate sustainable frameworks for Alternative Credit to help minimize greenwashing risk. Supplement work of the investment team with relevant insights, analysis and data on ESG topics
