I’m currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business who are looking to appoint an Aftersales & Technical Support Manager to take ownership of all client technical enquiries and aftersales activity. This is a pivotal role within the business, acting as the key technical interface between customers and internal teams. You’ll be responsible for ensuring issues are investigated thoroughly, resolved efficiently, and prevented from recurring. You will manage all incoming technical enquiries from clients, providing clear, professional and solutions-focused support. This will involve diagnosing issues remotely, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and where required, attending customer sites to carry out investigations. A key part of the role is identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventative actions to drive continuous improvement across the business. Roles & Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for all client technical enquiriesInvestigate product or performance issues methodicallyConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsCoordinate with internal engineering, production and quality teamsAttend customer sites when required to assess and resolve issuesProduce clear technical reports and follow-up documentationMonitor trends in aftersales issues and recommend improvementsMaintain strong, professional client relationships The Ideal Candidate Experience in a technical support, aftersales, service or quality role within manufacturingStrong fault-finding and root cause analysis skillsComfortable liaising directly with customers at all levelsAble to translate technical information clearly and confidentlyWilling to travel occasionally for site visitsMethodical, proactive and solutions-driven appr
