- Role Overview
- The Commercial Sales Executive for the EMEA region is responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying new market opportunities, and managing the entire sales cycle for our products/services across all territories outside of the core markets (e.g., Europe, Middle East and Africa). This role requires a highly motivated, results-oriented professional with a deep understanding of international business and complex commercial negotiations. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can operate independently in diverse, fast-paced international markets.
- Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets and expand the company's customer base in the EMEA region.
- Identify and qualify new commercial opportunities through market research, networking, and cold outreach in various international markets.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, presentation, proposal generation, negotiation, and contract closure with customers, distributors, and partners.
- Focus on generating significant pipeline and growth within key emerging markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
- Market and Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for clients.
- Gather market intelligence on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the EMEA region to inform product development and sales strategy.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to localize sales materials and campaigns for specific EMEA markets.
- Sales Operations and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and activity reports using the company's CRM system.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews to senior management, outlining regional performance, challenges, and future strategy.
- Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations and company policies.
- Territory Alignment
- Territory will be determined based on business priorities at the time of hire. We consider geography, vertical focus, and market opportunity when assigning accounts to ensure strong alignment between seller strengths and company growth goals.
- Qualifications
- Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive commercial sales experience, with at least 3 years focused on international markets (specifically outside of EMEA regions).
- Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value commercial deals in a diverse geographical territory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally frequently (up to 50% of the time).
- Preferred
- Fluency in a second language relevant to a key EMEA market (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Arabic).
- Experience with a global distribution network or channel partner model.
- Proven track record of managing and expanding sales into new, emerging markets.
