We are seeking a dedicated Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to a Central Services Team. This role is crucial for the smooth operation and development of our projects. The Administrator will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our services. Day-to-day of the role: Provide a professional telephone and reception service, ensuring efficient and polite communication.Maintain and develop administrative systems, both computerised and manual.Manage shared electronic diaries on Microsoft Outlook.Handle all incoming and outgoing post, ensuring accurate recording and distribution.Communicate effectively with project staff, service users, and external agencies.Prepare bookings, order goods and services, and obtain quotes in line with financial procedures.Type correspondence and coordinate meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute them as requested.Act as Fire Warden, with appropriate training provided.Assist in coordinating health and safety, maintenance, and security measures.Set up meeting rooms and assist in the coordination of staff meetings and special events.Provide administrative support to the CEO as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in an administrative role.Strong organisational and multitasking skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel (Canva would be a real bonus).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to feminist, trauma-informed, and anti-racist practices.Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information.
