Quack Recruitment & Training is hiring a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team across South Yorkshire.

Responsibilities for the Trainee Recruitment Consultant role will be:
• Source, screen, and register candidates for roles across construction, warehousing, and administration.
• Learn how to build strong candidate pipelines using job boards, social media, and direct outreach.
• Support senior consultants with arranging interviews, confirming start dates, and completing compliance checks.
• Manage candidate records and keep systems updated with accurate information.
• Help maintain relationships with learners from our training programmes and assist them into work.
• Work to daily and weekly activity targets for candidate calls, interviews, and submissions.
• Handle general office tasks such as answering calls, booking appointments, and assisting with marketing.
• Shadow consultants to learn how to manage clients and job vacancies.

Requirements for the Trainee Recruitment Consultant role will be:
• No experience required – just energy, ambition, and great communication skills.
• A genuine interest in recruitment, training, or helping people into work.
• Confident phone manner and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Organised and proactive – able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Basic IT knowledge (emails, Word, Excel, databases).
• Experience in customer service, sales, retail or hospitality is a bonus but not essential.

Pay for the Trainee Recruitment Consultant role will be: £25,000 – £30,000 PA
