About Us We’re a growing technology-driven business moving most of our infrastructure to managed platforms (Vercel/Render) to minimise day-to-day DevOps work. Our senior developers handle migrations and deployments, but we need a DevOps consultant on an ongoing ad hoc basis for support, checks, and the occasional infrastructure update. Role Overview This is not a full-time role. Workload is approx. 2–4 hours per month, focused on: Running monthly infrastructure checks. Handling SSL certificate renewals & automation. Monitoring logs/alerts (Sentry) and escalating issues. Supporting developers with rare infra updates (DB scaling, env config changes). Advising on optimisations & reliability improvements. Key Responsibilities Review and maintain partially automated CI/CD pipelines. Ensure SSL/certificates are renewed & automated. Verify monitoring/logging tools are running correctly. Provide troubleshooting for occasional infra issues. Recommend cost-effective/reliable cloud tooling. Requirements Strong background in DevOps & cloud infrastructure. Hands-on experience with AWS, Vercel, Render, or similar platforms. Excellent knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, SSL/certificates, monitoring/logging. Ability to document processes clearly for developers. Comfortable with ad hoc / retainer-style engagement. Engagement Terms Ad hoc basis: approx. 2–4 hrs/month. Must be available for occasional urgent support (within 12 business hrs).
