Our client is a modern firm of chartered Accountants based in Chelmsford who are looking for a Accounts Manager to join their growing team.The role will suit an Senior Accountant / Accounts Manager with practice experience, that has good diligence and enjoys interacting and building relationships across a wide range of businesses.Accounts Manager Role:Overseeing and taking responsibility of a portfolio of clients to ensure compliance for tax and accounting purposes.Be the first point of contact for your clients, working closely with the Directors.Supervising team members and managing workflow through the office.Managing the financial performance of your portfolio with regards to fee levels, recoveries, WIP and Debtor positions.Collaborative working with other departments within the firm.Review of compliance work including year-end statutory accounts, VAT returns, management accounts and personal/company tax returns.Assisting clients with queries and advising clients where necessary.Assisting Directors with ad hoc projects.Proactively building a network of professional contacts.Managing the financial performance of your portfolio with regards to fee levels, recoveries, WIP and Debtor positions.Ideal Candidate:4+ years practice experienceExperience of Iris | Xero would be advantageousACCA / ACA qualifiedWorking within a teamPackage: £50,000 - £60,00025 days holiday + BH3 days in office & 2 day WFHCareer progressionFor more information on this Accounts Manager position, please contact Liam Snell at LGS Vision Recruitment.
