Job SummaryWe are seeking an exceptional Financial Accounts Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s financial accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong cash flow control, and compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Working closely with operations, sales, and senior management, this role plays a key part in supporting the financial health and growth of this growing freight forwarding business.Please note that successful applicants must have experience of Cargowise.Key Responsibilities for the Financial Accounts ManagerManage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end / year-end closeMonitor and control cash flow, including credit control, collections, and supplier paymentsReconcile bank accounts, intercompany accounts, and agent statementsPrepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysisMaintain compliance with local financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal controlsPrepare, review, and submit quarterly VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with applicable tax regulations and deadlines.Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activitiesImprove and maintain accounting systems and processesProvide financial insights and recommendations to management to support decision-makingYou will also be responsible for one member off staff.Qualifications & Experience of the Financial Accounts ManagerMinimum 5 years’ experience in accountsExperience with CargoWise is essentialSolid knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax complianceSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time-management skills<b
