Sales ledger - Cashier Annual Salary: £24,000 - £27,240 (depending on experience)Location: RomfordJob Type: Full-time office based We are seeking a dedicated Sales ledger - Cashier to join our client's team. This role requires a high level of precision and efficiency in handling financial transactions and maintaining sales ledgers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be adept at using Excel for financial tracking and reporting. Day-to-day of the role: Allocate approximately 100 payments per day.Locate and file remittances accurately.Contact both credit and non-credit customers with allocation queries via email.Check unallocated cash weekly and run unallocated cash reports.Review bank statements daily to track payments for imports and exports.Perform ad hoc duties as required to support the accounting team. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, specifically with sales ledger cashiering.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of managing complex spreadsheets.High level keyboard skills for efficient data entry.Exceptional attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.Ability to work full-time from the office.
