The firm are now able to offer an outstanding opportunity to a recent school leaver looking to kick-start their career in accounting. As well as gaining wide exposure to accounting, audit, and bookkeeping for a diverse range of clients you will be given full study support towards a recognised accounting qualification with the eventual aim of becoming a fully qualified accountant managing your own portfolio of clients Role Requirements -Assisting Seniors/Managers with the preparation of year-end financial files. Supporting in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with recognised reporting standards Participating in audit assignments to include control reviews, sampling and testing. General bookkeeping tasks for a diverse range of clients Effectively communicating with clients at all levels on a range of accounts and audit related matters Person Requirements -A recent school leaver having taken A-Levels in Maths and English (desirable) with strong grades (B's and above) Previous work experience is not essential for this position although if you have gained some work experience in an accountancy practice that would be highly desirable. A passion for pursuing a career in accounting with ambitions to complete the AAT and ACA qualifications with the eventual aim of becoming a fully qualified chartered accountant.
