This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join a supportive finance team in a varied role offering both autonomy and collaboration.The RoleReporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key part in the day-to-day finance operations while also providing ad-hoc support to other areas of the business as needed. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work from home part of the week.Key Responsibilities:Processing purchase and sales invoicesUpdating and reconciling paymentsGeneral ledger maintenance and reconciliationsProcessing travel and staff expensesSupporting audits and preparing documentation as requiredPerforming credit checks on new and existing customersAssisting with credit control duties, including chasing outstanding debtsBank and supplier statement reconciliationsAssisting with payroll and VAT returnsLiaising with internal departments and external stakeholdersProviding administrative and financial support to other departments when requiredThe Ideal Candidate:Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts assistant roleSolid understanding of general accounting principles and ledgersStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsConfident working independently and as part of a teamProficient in Excel and financial/accounting systemsA proactive and flexible approach to supporting wider business functionsTo apply or find out more, please get in touch with
