Office based in central Windsor close to Windsor BRWell established Events company require bright and conscientious Accounts Assistant for a varied & challenging position focussing on Accounts Receivable, based in well situated offices, in central Windsor.About the roleReporting to the Finance Manager the Accounts Assistant er will assist with month-end accounting duties and undertake responsibility for the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions. Key duties include:Credit control debt collection, chasing monies owed from a portfolio of corporate accountsRaising client invoices and allocation of receipts to the accounts receivable ledgerPreparation and submission of VAT returnsCompletion of monthly bank reconciliationsProcessing payroll information including starters & leavers and all associated administrationAccounts Payable including processing and payment of supplier invoicessupplier statement reconciliationsProcessing month-end adjustments including accruals, prepayments and payroll journalsProduction of budget monitoring reports for senior management and department headsAssisting with the preparation of end of year statutory accounts for audit and compliance purposesProvide administrative support during budget preparation.Maintain Excel spreadsheets utilising proven Excel skills for Pivot Tables and V-LookupsAbout youThe Accounts Assistant will have proven experience with Accounts Receivable and Credit ControlIdeally AAT part or fully qualified you will be bright & conscientious with proven accounting experience, ideally gained within an SME environmentThe job holder will have a good aptitude for accounting systems and strong Excel skillsWhat's on offerSuperb office locationCompany pension<
