An established and growing professional services firm is seeking a reliable and efficient Credit Controller to join their finance team. This role has become available due to the retirement of a long-standing team member, highlighting the stability and longevity the business offers. As part of a supportive team of Credit Controllers, you will take ownership of managing a portfolio of accounts while maintaining accurate and up-to-date reporting. You will work closely with colleagues and build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring outstanding debt is collected efficiently and queries are resolved promptly. The role involves regular client contact, allocating payments, monitoring credit limits, producing aged debt and performance reports, and supporting month-end processes. The ability to work at pace while maintaining excellent attention to detail is essential. Ideally, you will have: The ideal candidate will have previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable, ideally within professional services or a similarly fast-paced environment, managing high volumes of accounts.You will be highly organised, accurate, and efficient, with strong communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and internal teams.Experience with accounting software or the ability to quickly learn new systems is required.Excellent team working skills, adapting, supporting and collaborating across the company.
