We are recruiting an interesting and varied Accounts Assistant opportunity for a small but growing accountancy Practice in the Dunfermline area.To be considered, you MUST have UK accountancy Practice experience to include working with owner-managed and small business clients (e.g. FRS 102 for small companies and FRS 105 for micro-entities).We are looking for someone with an appropriate background. This will suit an AAT 2 / 3.This is an office-based role. You should currently live within reasonable travel distance of Dunfermline.As part of a warm, friendly and supportive team, you’ll provide support to a qualified Accountant, part qualified Accountant, and Partner on a variety of client accounts.To be considered, you will need 3 or 4 years’ + experience ofData processing / input and verification of dataSales and purchase ledgersInvoice, cash and bank reconciliationsAssisting with the preparation of P&LsSelf assessmentsHelping prepare final accountsAssisting with the preparation of payroll runsMaking enquiries with HMRCAd hoc reportingExcel spreadsheetsUse of Xero or similarJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
