Job Description: The Accounting Assistant will support the Accounting team in delivering accurate and timely financial information. This role plays a key part in ensuring the integrity of financial accounts across balance sheet items, equipment (new, used, and rental), parts and service operations, and operating expenses. The ideal candidate will be analytical, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a high-performing finance function. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations for review. Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting packs and ad-hoc financial analysis. Input and review accounting journals in Blackline; support month-end close processes. Adjust DBS transaction registers and investigate discrepancies. Collaborate with non-finance teams to resolve commercial queries and provide accurate financial data. Support the production of daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs. Investigate operational activities and document financial procedures. Ensure accurate accounting for Equipment, Parts, and Service transactions. Monitor revenue and gross profit margins through detailed sales analysis. Provide cover for other team members during holidays or absences. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Experience in a finance department or a recent graduate in a finance-related field. AAT qualified or currentl
