It’s about making finance matter across the business — helping leaders make smarter commercial decisions, ensuring controls are in place, and supporting continuous improvement.What you’ll be doingYou’ll take ownership of the monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy across balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, and supporting the business through year-end and external audit.You’ll also have responsibility for transactional finance – overseeing purchase and sales ledger, cashbook, bank recs, and intercompany movements, while leading and developing a small team to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.There’s a strong commercial edge too:Support budgeting, forecasting, and the annual rent-setting processMonitor and analyse spend, income, and cashflow to improve value for moneyPresent meaningful reports and analysis to the Senior Leadership TeamReview and enhance internal reporting, systems, and policiesManage supplier contracts, terms, and negotiationsYou’ll play a key part in improving processes, supporting operational decision-making, and increasing the standard and value of financial information used across the organisation.Who will succeed here?Likely someone who is:Part-qualified or qualified by experience in financeConfident managing all aspects of transactional and management accountingA natural team leader, with a collaborative and supportive styleExperienced in improving processes and enhancing reportingComfortable wo
