Your new roleYou will play a key role in delivering end-to-end accounting services to clients across various industries. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and building strong client relationships. Key responsibilities will include: Prepare and review statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companiesManage and deliver year-end accounts and corporation tax returnsOversee VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC regulationsHandle personal and corporate tax computations and submissionsProvide business advisory support, including cash flow forecasting and budgetingLiaise with clients to resolve queries and provide proactive financial adviceStay up to date with changes in accounting standards and tax legislationAssist with the day-to-day running of the practice What you'll need to succeed Ideally, you will be qualified, however qualified by experience candidates will be considered. At least three years experience in public practiceStrong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and tax complianceProficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, IRIS, or similar)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectivelyA proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail What you'll get in return
