Role Overview The Account Manager will be the primary point of contact for Teampay and Payroll clients. You’ll manage client communication, oversee onboarding, ensure smooth delivery of services, and build strong, long-term relationships. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication, organisation, and follow-through. You will act as the bridge between our clients and our payroll operations team, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and responsiveness at all times. Key Responsibilities Client Communication Be the first point of contact for Teampay and Payroll clients. Respond to queries promptly and professionally. Build trusted relationships through regular check-ins and updates. Onboarding & Training Guide new clients through onboarding onto Teampay. Provide support and training on how to use the platform. Coordinate with the payroll operations team to ensure a smooth handover. Service Delivery Support Track payroll deadlines and ensure clients receive payslips, reports, and submissions on time. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure service quality. Follow up with clients to confirm satisfaction and resolve issues. Reporting & Documentation Prepare client-facing reports, updates, and performance summaries. Maintain accurate records of client communication and key decisions. Escalate risks or issues to management when needed. Client Retention & Growth Ensure high client satisfaction by being proactive and responsive. Spot opportunities for clients to adopt additional services within Williams, Stanley & Co. Support renewal and expansion discussions. Skills & Experience 2+ years’ experience in Account Management, Client Services, or Customer Success (preferably B2B or SaaS). Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. Strong organisation and follow-up skills — able to manage multiple clients at once. Experience working with international clients (UK/US preferred). Tech-savvy; comfortable with SaaS tools, CRMs, and finance/payroll software. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Nice to Have Experience in payroll, HR tech, or financial services. Knowledge of UK payroll processes (PAYE, RTI, pensions). Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks, or accounting software.
