An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Counter Fraud Liability Claims Handler to join a respected, ambitious and growing insurer based in central Manchester This role will see you managing a caseload of predominantly liability claims (with some motor) where fraud concerns have been identified, while also supporting the wider team by sharing intelligence and ensuring a consistent fraud strategy across the business.The Counter Fraud Liability Claims Handler role:Handle a caseload of liability claims (EL/PL/OL) with some motor injury/hire claims, focusing on fraud detection and resolution.Analyse and share intelligence updates with the wider team to maintain a consistent approach to fraud prevention.Attend intelligence-sharing forums and communicate relevant insights to colleagues.Negotiate and liaise with suppliers of intelligence products.Provide training and guidance to claims teams where required.Stay updated on legal and legislative changes and share key analysis.Skills required for the position:Solid experience in EL/PL/OL liability claims with a focus on fraud detection.Strong fraud awareness and/or counter fraud experience within liability or motor claims.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.Proactive and organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage your own caseload.Confident working independently while collaborating as part of a wider team.Willingness to learn and a positive, target-driven work ethic.Ability to lead by example and take on complex, challenging matters.Benefits of the Counter Fraud Liability Claims Handler:Competitive salary based on experience.Annual performance-related bonus.25 days holiday + bank holidays.<
