Randstad Student Support is immediately hiring Specialist Notetakers and Sighted Guides to provide essential one-to-one support for students with disabilities at Lancaster University.

Available Roles & Responsibilities:

We are recruiting for two distinct specialist roles requiring immediate placement:

1. Specialist Notetaker

- Purpose: To produce high-quality, accurate and comprehensive notes during lectures, seminars and practical sessions.

- Duties: Attend sessions punctually, capture all key information and deliver legible notes to students promptly.

2. Sighted Guides:

- Purpose: To provide orientation, navigation, and environmental awareness assistance to students with visual impairments to ensure safe and autonomous access across campus.

- Duties: Offer mobility support between campus locations (e.g., lecture theatres, libraries, student accommodation), assist with locating and retrieving resources, and ensure the student can fully access the university environment.
