Responsibilities
• Delivering Glass products to customers all over Knowsley / Northwest
operating an assigned vehicle weighing up to 7.5 tonnes.
• Driving for short and long distances
• Multi drop in the local area
• Planning deliveries and delivery schedules
• Working with transport managers to identify and plan the best route to take
• Ensuring that loads are safe and properly secured
• Completing delivery paperwork and keeping the logbook up to date
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Making scheduled deliveries to customers as per agreed schedule
Skills
• Valid Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive handballing and manual handling tasks
• Strong time management and route planning skills to meet tight delivery schedules
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail for accurate scanning and paperwork completion
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated to work independently
• Good standard of spoken and written English
• Previous multi-drop or delivery experience is preferred
