About
🧾 Project Overview We are launching a line of planters (garden furniture) and need high-quality CGI product visuals before the physical products exist. The purpose is to: • Generate realistic renderings in multiple timber cladding types • Provide a 360° interactive spin / viewer (user can rotate the planter) • Extract stills / hero images from the same 3D scenes for product pages We are looking for a skilled 3D artist / visualizer to model, texture, light, render, and deliver interactive spin visuals and stills. 📋 Deliverables 1. Base 3D model(s) of the planter(s) o High quality, accurate to provided dimensions / sketches o Modular components where relevant (cladding panels, internal steel body etc) o Clean topology, good UV mapping 2. Material / finish variation setup o Render-ready material variations (e.g. timber species variants) o Ability to swap between finishes easily (material sets, shaders) o For just one of the cladding types, we require a full set of 360° spin frames. 3. 360° spin / interactive viewer o A full series of rendered frames (e.g. 36, 72, or higher) for full 360° rotation o Viewer files / embed code or instructions (HTML/JS, configuration) or use of a viewer platform (e.g. WebRotate 360, Sirv, etc) 4. High-resolution stills / hero images o From multiple angles (front, side, top, perspective, close-ups) o On the still angles that we select, we also need to change the cladding type for one of those stills, to show 5 more different cladding timber species. 5. Source project files o The 3D scene files (e.g. .blend, .max, .fbx, etc) o Texture files, shader materials, maps (diffuse/albedo, normal, roughness, metalness etc) 6. Intermediate previews / proofs o Low-res test renders for lighting / material approval before final rendering o Feedback rounds (at least 1–2) 🛠 Required Skills & Technologies • 3D modeling / product modeling (Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, Rhino etc) • Texturing / material work with PBR workflows (substance, shader nodes, etc) • Photorealistic rendering (KeyShot, V-Ray, Arnold, Corona, Blender Cycles, etc) • Experience with 360° spin / interactive product viewers (WebRotate 360, Sirv, custom JS spin) • Good understanding of lighting, composition, reflections, shadowing etc • Ability to manage versions, file organization, deliver clean, high-res output • Portfolio of prior product / industrial CGI / visualization work 📐 Technical Specifications & Requirements • Spin frame count: e.g. 36 or 72 frames (i.e. 10° / 5° increments) • Resolution: e.g. 4K (or specify width × height) for each frame / still • Background / environment: neutral • Lighting style: studio / product, HDRI, soft shadows • File formats: PNG / JPEG for renders, transparent where needed; lossless if possible • Viewer output: HTML/JS or embeddable viewer, or instructions to integrate • Variant count: 1nr 360° spin / interactive viewer, in one timber type. 1nr still taken from that 360° spin / interactive viewer. Then 5 further cladding types on that still, to demonstrate different cladding timbers offered. • Budget / milestones: define payment schedule (upon model deliver, upon test renders, upon final) 📝 Information We’ll Provide • Dimensioned sketches / technical drawings of planter • Reference images of finish / material / cladding types you want, and pictures of these. • Examples of CGI / spin viewers we like (look & feel) 💼 What to Include When You Apply When applying / quoting, please include: • Your portfolio / past product / CGI / spin samples • The software & pipeline you intend to use (e.g. Blender + Cycles, KeyShot, etc) • Your plan for preview / feedback rounds • Project timeline / milestones • Quote / cost breakdown Any questions, please let us know! 😊
