2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer (MSP)Location: BasingstokeSalary: £38,000 – £45,000 per annumWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Managed Service Provider who are seeking an experienced 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer to join their technical team.This role would suit a confident, customer-facing engineer with strong MSP experience who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical support, project delivery, and onsite client engagement.The RoleProviding high-quality technical support remotely and onsiteActing as an escalation point for complex support issuesDelivering infrastructure and cloud projects from design through to implementationConfigure, support, and maintain networks and firewallsWorking closely with customers to understand technical challenges and provide effective solutionsCarrying out site visits, system upgrades, and planned maintenanceProducing clear technical documentation and handoversRequired Experience & SkillsProven experience in a 2nd / 3rd Line role within an MSPStrong background supporting Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environmentsExperience with virtualisation technologies (VMware and/or Hyper-V)Solid understanding of networking and security, including firewalls and VPNsFamiliarity with backup and business continuity solutionsConfident communicator with excellent customer-facing skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressureFull UK driving licence
