• Pulse is currently seeking two experienced ACT Pharmacy Technicians to join a dispensary team in Greater Manchester. This locum role offers the opportunity to support safe and efficient dispensing services within a busy hospital pharmacy environment.
• The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and compliance, working closely with pharmacists and other pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Key Responsibilities
• Perform final accuracy checks on dispensed medicines as an ACT.
• Support daily dispensary operations, including stock management and prescription processing.
• Ensure compliance with legal, professional, and hospital standards.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Qualifications and Experience
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification is essential.
• Previous experience in a hospital dispensary setting.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
