We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work with students with special educational needs. This is a rewarding role where you will provide personalised support, helping students access the curriculum, build confidence, and thrive both academically and socially. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one support for a student with identified SEN needs. Assist in implementing personalised learning plans. Support students with learning, social, and emotional development. Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and parents to monitor progress. Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in lessons. We are looking for someone who: Has experience supporting students with SEN, preferably in a secondary school. Can build trusting relationships and communicate effectively with students. Is patient, adaptable, and proactive. Has a good understanding of strategies to support learning and behaviour.
