I’m looking for a remote collaborator to help me find apartments/houses/land in emerging destinations and to coordinate renovation/build projects fully online. This is a 100% remote, computer-based role. You will not be asked to do any in-person work, site visits, or physical inspections. Your work will be research, analysis, and online communication only. [What you’ll do] * Search online for apartments, houses, and land (roughly 100–200 m2) in good lifestyle locations in emerging destinations * Focus on options that could achieve an all-in cost (purchase + renovation/build) ideally under ~USD 2,000/m2, where the value is clearly justified * Prioritise locations with good everyday convenience (delivery apps, parcel delivery, basic shops/services) and strong views / sense of openness * Use online sources (property sites, agent portals, social media, forums, etc.) to find both listed and off-market opportunities * For shortlisted properties, prepare concise write-ups with: * key pros/cons * rough valuation vs asking price * suggested negotiation / offer approach * simple renovation/build budget ranges and how they affect all-in cost * Research and shortlist local professionals (architects/designers, contractors, engineers, etc.) based on online portfolios, reviews, and references * Coordinate remotely with agents and local professionals by email/messages/video calls, and keep me updated with clear summaries and links All of this is to be done from your computer. Any on-site work or physical inspections will be handled by local providers, not by you. [Profile] * Experience buying or renovating residential property (for yourself or for clients) OR strong experience in market research / project coordination with a genuine interest in property * Comfortable researching prices, comparing options, and thinking about value and cost control * Confident communicating with agents and professionals online (email, chat, video) * Good judgment on location, building quality, layout, and value (at least at a basic, analytical level) * Organised, clear written communication, able to work independently * Fluent English; other languages a plus [Practicalities] * Location: Fully remote * Time: Part-time / project-based; activity will vary by month * Compensation: Hourly, with potential performance-based bonuses on successful projects (roughly USD 15–30/hour depending on experience) * Engagement: Freelance/contract via Upwork only, no in-person duties [Focus countries (not exclusive)] Panama, Uruguay, Paraguay, Georgia, Montenegro, Thailand, Philippines, Cambodia.
